Gone to the Dogs – Dog-a-thon and Pups n Pinot next weekend
As if Dog Beach isn’t enough to show how much we love our canine pals. Next weekend, there’ll be two fun events centered around man’s best friend.
On June 25th, Saturday, you can catch the Dog-A-Thon and Pet Fair at the Huntington Beach Art Center.
Bring your best friend (the kind on a leash) and walk a mile through downtown HB in support of the Art Center and its programs. Each pariticipant will receive a doggie bag filled with swag, an even t-shirt (first 100 to register), and opportunity drawing ticket. Receive an extra ticket for every $20 in pledges. After the walk, you can enjoy art projects, entertainment and product giveaways for you and your pet.

On Sunday, June 26th, head on over to the Newland House Barn for an afternoon of wine tasting, food and music. It’s Pups n’ Pinot time for the benefit of A Leg Up Rescue, a non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing cats and dogs from life-threatening situations.
