Festival of Folktales at the Library
The Friends of the Children’s Library is proud to present the annual Festival of Folktales on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 from 11am to 3pm at the Central Library. Enjoy shows including the Rope Warrior at 12:30 and 2:00pm at the Library Theater, Spring Jam Spectacular Laser Show at 11am, several skits by the Puppet Company.
Festival Carnival tickets are 50 cents each or a strip of 11 tickets for $5. Food vendors are cash only. Join the fun and sign up for the Children’s Summer Reading Program too – this year’s theme: One World, Many Stories.
This is one of my family’s favorite summer events because we LOVE the library. There are many things to do — games, story times, music. Note: Come early to find parking as the city is doing some work on the parking lots, installing solar panels.
