Free Program for Kids at Shipley Nature Center

The Shipley Nature Center on Goldenwest St. presents a program for kids about the water around us. On Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 1:00 p.m., families can attend the first in a series of four family fun days about water. Kids will learn about what makes the Shipley stream run, meet Olover Ocean and Patti Potable, become a “Planet Water Protector,” tour the rain harvesting water-hogs and make a rain gauge to take home. There will be a puppet show, stories and exhibits to enjoy. The event is free. Donations welcome. For more information go to www.shipleynature.org or call 714-842-4772.
