Fun Summer Programs for the Family Presented by Huntington Beach Library

Battle summertime boredom with these low-cost family programs presented by the Huntington Beach Central Library Children’s Department. On July 25th, Surf City Family favorite magician David Skale will have a show at the Main Street Branch Library. On August 4th, you can catch Sandy Lynn’s Musical Barnyard Extravaganza at the Central Park Bandstand and on August 24th-25th, join The Great Stuffed Animal Library Sleepover.  Here are the details:


WHAT: Summer Jam Laser Show

WHEN: July 24th, Tuesday 1:00pm

WHERE: Library Theater, Huntington Beach Central Library

FEE: $4 per person

WHAT: David Skale’s Comedy and Magic Show

WHEN: July 25, 2012, Wednesday 10:00am

WHAT: Sandy Lynn’s Musical Barnyard Extravaganza – songs, petting zoo, and a raffle

WHEN: August 4th, Saturday at 11:00am

WHERE: Central Park Bandstand

FEE: $4 per person

WHAT: The Great Stuffed Animal Library Sleepover – What do your toys do when the lights go out? Here’s your chance to find out.

WHEN: August 24, 2012 Friday between 9:30am-4:30pm

WHERE: Huntington Beach Central Library

FEE: $4 per toy


Drop off your toy at the Chidlren’s Desk.

Fill out a name tag for yourself and toy.

Receive a Teddy Bear bookmark

WHEN: August 25, Saturday 10:00 am

WHERE: Tabby Theater

Come to a special storytime and see a slideshow featuring the toys that slept over and see what they did.

Go to the Children’s Desk and pick up your toy.
