Save the Date! Taste of Huntington Beach is on April 27th
For the past four years, I’ve been fortunate to be involved with the awesome Taste of Huntington Beach event, as a volunteer for the Friends of the Children’s Library. The Taste of Huntington Beach combines food, fun, community and charity! It is one of those events that truly captures the vibe of Huntington Beach.
The 2014 Taste of Huntington Beach will be held on Sunday, April 27th from noon to 4pm at the Huntington Beach Sports Complex. The annual event raises money for The Children’s Library of Huntington Beach while promoting the amazing variety of restaurants and catering companies in Huntington Beach.
What sets the Taste of Huntington Beach apart from many other similar events is that you get “One single ALL-INCLUSIVE price” for the event. Tickets start at $55 (General Admission Ticket) and it includes 4 incredible hours of unlimited tastes from more than 40 local restaurants, sips of wine from California boutique wineries, samples of beer from premiere craft breweries and live entertainment. There are also “Designated Driver” and “VIP admission” tickets. For more information, visit tastehb.com Note: The tickets are in pre-sale discounted mode till February 28th and on March 1st General Admission Tickets will cost $60. Still reasonable if you ask me, considering all the food, drink and entertainment one will be getting for 4 hours! And for a good cause, at that.

A Note About the Friends of the Children’s Library
Since 2002, the Friends of the Children’s Library (FOTCL), in partnership with the Huntington Beach Restaurant Association (HBRA), has donated more than $300,000 from Taste proceeds to the HB Children’s Library.
The FOTCL is an all volunteer, non-profit organization dedicated to promoting children’s interest in literature, reading, and the use of library resources and services. ALL our money is used to support a variety of educational and entertaining programs and activities for the children in our community through the Children’s Department of the Huntington Beach Public Library.
