Experience Huntington Beach on a Segway

Remember all the hype surrounding the Segway Human Transporter? It was supposed to revolutionize transportation. Well, while that didn’t quite happen, Segways are still a fun way to get around. It’s like a motorized scooter, using less footwork, and with more power! Our Surf City Family could not pass up the opportunity to try out Surf City Segways!

Surf City Segway is the only authorized Segway dealer in Huntington Beach and provides rentals, sales, and guided beach tours. We visited them at 417 Main St., Unit 101B. It’s in the building next to Jax Bicycle Center. They gave us a quick tutorial and guided us through side streets downtown before crossing over to Pacific Coast Highway. We rode our Segways on the bike path and headed past Dog Beach. It was great feeling the wind in our faces and seeing our Huntington Beach in a different way. Many tourists stopped to ask us where we got the Segways. If you are a tourist, this is definitely on cool way to experience Huntington Beach.
