#SundayFunday at Museum of Illusions
At the corner of Hollywood and Highland, Instagram-worthy photo opportunities abound at the Museum of Illusions, which features two interactive exhibits: 3D illusions and the Upside Down House. The day we went, there were lots of families, groups of friends, and tourists having fun posing and taking turns with picture-taking duties. Unlike other similar museums “for the ‘gram,” Museum of Illusions is not a pop-up but is in fact, a permanent museum in Hollywood.
Tickets to one exhibit are $25 for adults, $12 for kids 6-12 years old. Tickets for both exhibit are $40 adults, $20 for kids. Kids 5 and under get free admission to the Museum of Illusions and Upside Down House.
There are 30+ 3D illusions inspired by cartoons, art, current events, movies and more!
Here are some of my faves:
After going around the 3D illusions… we entered the Upside Down House, which features 7 unique rooms with furnishings and whatnot on the ceiling. Get it? So that when you take a picture, you look like things are upside down.
AS A SPECIAL VALENTINE TREAT, you can get 50% off your ticket price, when you show a photo of your ex at the Museum of Illusions front desk.
