Wordless Wednesday: Pelicans at the Bolsa Chica Wetlands- Chris Epting

He writes: “Pelicans are my favorite birds. *Early* this morning at the wetlands I encountered a full symphony of them, at first moving as one slowly swirling cloud, then gently breaking off into smaller bundles. Dozens and dozens of them broke the dawn on a warm, spring-like thermal that required almost no beating of their wings. One of the most pleasant things I have ever witnessed and a remarkable way to start this, or any day.”
