EASTER ROUND-UP
The Annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2011 at Huntington Beach Central Park adjacent to the Central Park picnic area off of Edwards Avenue and Central Park Drive. There will be Easter egg hunt, game booths, entertainment, exhibits and refreshments, from 9:30 a.m. to noon. The Easter Bunny will drop in for a visit too! Pancakes and other refreshments will be available for purchase. BYOB! Bring Your Own Easter Basket or Bag.
On Sunday, April 24, 2011 another Huntington Beach tradition takes place — Annual Easter Sunrise Service put on by several Huntington Beach Churches called Surf City Alive Easter Sunrise Service at Pier Plaza in downtown Huntington Beach. Activities will include music, prayer and Easter celebrations. from 6:15 to 7:30 a.m. This event is FREE and open to the public.
Meanwhile over at the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach Resort and Spa, there will by Easter Egg hunts in the resort’s main pool (that’s right – kids get to DIVE into the pool for their eggs) , a photo booth and of course a visit from the Easter Bunny. There will be a delicious Easter brunch at The Californian from 10am to 2:30pm. Fee: $78 for adults and $25 for kids 6-12. Children 5 and under eat for free. For reservations, call 714.845.4885.
