May is National Bike Month
Our friend, Kathy from Build Futures, a a non-profit organization for homeless youth in Orange County, wanted to share that they will be collecting used bicycles, locks, and helmets in connection with National Bike Month.
BE BIKE HEALTHY – SURF CITY NIGHTS
Downtown Huntington Beach is celebrating National Bike Month on Tuesday, May 17 with a variety of activities. Be Bike Healthy- Ride a bike to Surf City Nights the weekly Street Fair and Certified Farmers market located on the 100-300 block of Main St. from 5:00 -9:00pm. Activities will be located on Walnut and Main Street:
· Jax Bicycle Center is performing a free eight point bicycle maintenance check.
· HB Police Department will be presenting a bicycle safety presentation at 5:30pm and 6:30pm which will include bike rider’s responsibilities and common violations.
