As part of its “100 Days of Summer” celebration, ALBERTSONS will be hosting a drive to raise funds for the Surfrider Foundation starting Friday, July 29 through Sunday, August 7 at its four Huntington Beach stores.
The Surfrider Foundation is a non-profit environmental organization dedicated to the protection and enjoyment of the world’s oceans, waves and beaches for all people through conservation, activism, research and education. Here in Surf City, they organize regular beach clean ups.
So how can you help? With a $1 or $5 donation, you will receive an entry form for a chance to win an exclusive custom-made Richard Payne surfboard; however no purchase is necessary to win. Drawings to give away four Richard Payne surfboards will be held at each of the ALBERTSONS Huntington Beach stores on Monday, August 8.
