Halloween Activities in Surf City

Calling all ghouls, ghosts and goblins — the City of Huntington Beach Community Services Department is hosting a Pumpkin Carving and Costume Contest at the City Gym and Pool on October 27th, from 6:00 -8:00pm. This event is open to kids ages 2-13 years old. Participants are invited to dress up in costumes. Register online at HBSands.org or at the City Gym.

On Halloween itself, Wednesday, October 31, 2012, Downtown Huntington Beach celebrates a Halloween Fest from 4pm -8pm.  The free event is open to children of all ages and features a moon bounce, petting zoo, petting zoo, Ferris wheel, pumpkin carving, costume contests and more. Children can trick-or-treat along Main Street and enter a costume contest. This pet friendly event will also have Howl-a-Ween Canine Costume Contest.
