Mile Square Regional Park Unveils Redesigned Archery Range

Katniss Everdeen fans rejoice!  There’s a redesigned archery range at nearby Mile Square Regional Park in Fountain Valley, Calif. OC Parks is pleased to invite the public to the grand reopening event for the redesigned archery range at Mile Square Regional Park on Saturday, November 23 at 10:00am. The event will welcome local archers and public speakers for a special presentation. According to the OC Parks media alert, the event will kick off with comments by Orange County Supervisor Janet Nguyen, First District, and OC Parks Director Stacy Blackwood. Supervisor Nguyen will take the opening arrow shot and high-level archers will perform trick shots. Children will provide a shooting demonstration with assistance from OC Parks Rangers, and there will be open shooting on the range after the presentation. Refreshments will be served before and after the program.
