Explore Huntington Beach Pier with iPhoneographer Larry Tenney

You can view Huntington Beach through the creative eyes of iPhoneographer and Surf City Family contributor, Larry Tenney. The Surf City resident’s photos of the Huntington Beach Pier, Huntington Beach sunsets and other iconic landmarks in Downtown Huntington Beach are very popular in social media. He has a knack for being where the action’s at on the beach at the right time – capturing once-in-a-lifetime HB events (like the time they built a ramp on the pier for a TV show here, and decorations for  the 4th of July here) for posterity with his iPhone, resulting in images that tell the story of Huntington Beach.

According to Larry: ” My interest/passion/obsession with iPhoneography began during a sabbatical on St Thomas, in the US Virgin Islands. Upon returning, I realized the HB pier was a great source of study for light, shadows, exposure, leading lines, perspective, architecture, people, editing apps, so I go down frequently at different times of day/year to explore those elements of photography.
