Brunch at Eureka Huntington Beach

I love brunch! So when I found out that Eureka!, located in Bella Terra, started serving a weekend brunch, I took my whole family over there. The all-American dining destination now offers brunch from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

@eurekahb #brunch so good!

I ordered the Creole Benedict featuring fried green tomato, Virginia ham, Creole mustard hollandaise, and breakfast potatoes. And let me tell you, it was DELICIOUS!

I also tasted the Orange Pecan Granola with Greek yogurt, mixed berries, and honey, which had the right granola to fruit to yogurt ratio, to give one’s morning a healthy start. But the clear winner – the one I’ll be coming to order at each visit (!), for sure, is the Bananas Foster Crunchy French Toast topped with pecans, spiced rum syrup, and homemade whipped cream.

To complement these mouthwatering brunch options, I also had a Bloody Mary. FYI, Eureka! serves Mimosas and Bloody Marys all weekend for $5 and they have an extensive craft beer selection.

But wait, there’s more!

Just in time for Father’s Day, Eureka is featuring a special cocktail called “Go Ask Your Mother” Old Fashioned, which is composed of Old Overholt Rye Whiskey, Corsair Triple Smoke, a house-made Stone Smoked Porter simple syrup, bitters, and orange all for $12.

Below please find the cocktail recipe for the adventurous dads who want to try and make this at home. You can order it all weekend at Eureka and then go home and make it for yourself 🙂
