Paderia Bakehouse Grand Opening
FOUNTAIN VALLEY, CA, April 25, 2017 – Paderia Bakehouse is having its grand opening on Saturday, April 29th, from 10am to 4pm. Paderia is located at Fountain Valley Promenade.
There’s a buzz in the air and the smell of freshly baked-malasadas and other baked treats wafting from a corner on Brookhurst St in Fountain Valley. It’s Paderia, a new bakery featuring pastries baked in-house from scratch, with a multi-cultural flair. According to co-owner Davion Tran, “We are focused on simplicity and letting the ingredients speak for themselves. We collaborated with an Executive pastry chef to create these recipes that have been curated from inspirations around the world with an emphasis on traditionalism.”
Nathan Vuong, co-owner, adds: “We create and share warmth through quality products and service. We feel that this is something that the dessert scene in Orange County needs. Right now, we have 4 core products: malasadas, ensaymadas , cookies and banana pudding.”
If you’ve been to Hawaii, then you’ve probably tasted and fallen in love with the malasada. While popular on the island, these balls of dough deep-fried in oil and coated with sugar originated in Portugal. The Paderia malasadas come in these flavor variants: Coconut Cream, Nutella, Ube, Dulce De Leche — with more flavors to come in the future.
Ensaymadas are a popular Philippine delicacy of Spanish origin. An ensaymada is a brioche baked with butter, topped with grated cheese and sugar.
Large fresh baked cookies come in Chocolate Chip Walnut, Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter, and Oatmeal Raisin.
