My HB: Brian Jensen, local business owner shares his family faves

We love meeting other Surf City Families! So when one surf city mama suggested we feature Brian Jensen, we were happy to oblige. Brian is the founder of Congruent Digital, a digital marketing agency based in Huntington Beach, CA. He gives a shout out to Central Park and Red Table at Huntington Harbour Mall among others. Check out our little Q&A.

SURF CITY FAMILY (SCF): How long have you lived in Huntington Beach?

BRIAN JENSEN (BJ): 3 1/2 years. We moved up from Pacific Beach in San Diego.

SCF: What do you like best about living here?

BJ: We love how clean and family friendly the city is and feel like there is always an event happening. We also love how close it is Seal Beach and Long Beach, oh, and you can’t beat the weather!

SCF: Name your favorite place to get breakfast?

BJ: At the risk of being cliche, I’m a big fan of the French Toast at the Sugar Shack.

SCF: Best place for dining out on a special occasion?

BJ: We love Red Table as the food is delicious and it’s close to home! If you like sushi, Slow Fish is the place to go in Huntington.

SCF: Favorite park/beach and why?

BJ: I’d have to say Central Park – it’s massive and has a little something for everyone. My three year old loves exploring the Shipley Nature Center!

Sunset Beach is our go-to spot for the beach as it’s a couple minutes from home and there’s free parking.

SCF: Do you have a secret/tip to give anyone who wants to visit/live in Huntington Beach? What is it?

BJ: If you are visiting, come later in the summer to avoid the May/June gloom.
