Jet Packs are Finally Here!
The Great Pacific Airshow will Showcase the First-Ever Dual Jetpack Flight
(HUNTINGTON BEACH, CA) August 22, 2019 – The future is here and not one, but two Jetpack Men will wow audiences at the upcoming Great Pacific Airshow with innovative and thrilling performances that bring imagination to life and human flight to the forefront.
Taking place Oct. 4 – 6 in Huntington Beach, the Great Pacific Airshow features four and a half hours of non-stop aerial excitement including the Southern California debut of the Royal Air Force Red Arrows jet team, the return of the Canadian Forces Snowbirds jet team, US Air Force F-35 Lightning II demo, F-18 Super Hornet, plus a host of world-class performers.
Never before have two Jetpack pilots performed together in an airshow and the exciting display is brought to the airshow by JetPack Aviation.
“I’ve been relentlessly obsessing with the potential of self-flight for the past 40 years. I’m beyond excited to fly our technology with the second JetPack Pilot of the company, Boris Jarry, at the Great Pacific Airshow to demonstrate the amazing performance and capabilities of our jet-packs,” said David Mayman, pilot and chief executive of JetPack Aviation.
Known lovingly by his fans as “the JetPack Man,” Mayman can fly at more than 150mph and up to three miles. The duel jetpack performance will feature Jarry and Mayman on their FAA certified JB10 JetPacks as they soar up-close, over the water and through the venue.
“JetPack Aviation will be an awesome addition to the airshow and the historic performance is just another reason why the Great Pacific Airshow is unlike any other experience,” said Kevin Elliott, airshow director and CEO of Code Four, operators of the Great Pacific Airshow.
For those aviation fans who want to see the Jetpack Men and the other airshow action up close, the Great Pacific Airshow has several premium ticket options. The Flight Line Club features hosted food and bar, enhanced audio and premium viewing. The Drop Zone offers food and a variety of beverages for sale and is located close to the water.
